About Us

Athol Screw Machine was formed in 1992 by Skip Hayward in the garage of his home in Athol, Massachusetts. In just a few years the shop was moved down the road into a bigger building to accommodate for expansion.

Today the shop has approx. 2700 sq. ft of floor space with 14 Cam-Automatics screw machines as well as secondary support equipment.

After 25+ years the machine shop is still run by Skip. His son Dan has acquired years of machining experience growing up around the shop and is taking a larger role in the company in recent years. This allows us to run many jobs at the same time and ship out parts to customers on a weekly basis.
